Professor Mario Levi
Professor Levi graduated from Lycée Français Saint Michel, Istanbul, Turkey in 1975 and from the French Language and Literature program in the Faculty of Literature, at Istanbul University in 1980. He is a biographer, novelist, essayist, and short story writer. He also worked as a French instructor, an importer, a journalist, and a radio broadcaster. He is currently working as an instructor at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey, where he teaches courses in Creative Writing. Professor Levi's first book, a romanticized biography, Jacques Brel: A Lonely Man, was published in 1986. His first short story book, Nonaccessible City, was published in 1990 and was awarded the "Haldun Taner Story Award" for that year.
