Current research includes macro-economic feedbacks of energy-environment policies, discrete choice modelling of consumer behaviour, and modelling the relationship between production and cost for environmentally desired technologies. Dr. Jaccard is responsible for the Canadian Industrial Energy Efficiency Data and Analysis Centre, funded by the Canadian government and other agencies. He has chaired the B.C. Utilities Commission, served on the IPCC, and served on the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development.
